American idol pt. 2. Today was the actual auditions, and is not what most would expect.

Took this while waiting to get into the stadium for an hour. 5 a.m.

This is a small part of the line we had to wait in. 6-7 a.m.

Ryan Seacrest made an appearance to film some clips for the show.

The rest of the day consisted of waiting in this stadium for our turn.

This is what the tryouts looked like. 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.

And after all of that waiting, john sang for his ten seconds, and was quickly stopped, and followed by bad news that was a no for his advancement to the next round. Oh well, it was a good experience.
